On Tuesday November 24, 2020, Hammurabi Human Rights Organization continued its third stage campaign on implementing the relief project of sterilization in Nimrod district in Nineveh Plain with the support of Christian Solidarity International CSI to sterilize places of worships, service and social departments in the district.
Volunteers from the Center of Al-Awda Alamena contribute with Hammurabi team in the implementation of the project
The sterilization included the following religious places
1- Mar Behnam the martyer Monastery with all its annexes of churches, mausoleums and visitors' accommodation rooms
2- The Great Al-Khad Mosque and attachments of sanitary facilities and rest of service departments.
Then the health relief team went to Hamdaniya center (Baghdida) to start a sterilization campaign including:
3- Mar Paulus Monastery for Church Services with four floors and annexes including lecture halls, the library and playgrounds.
4- Radio "Voice of Peace".
5- Church of Transfiguration in the residential complex of Al-Taakhi of the Syriac Catholic Archdiocese.
6- The archaeological monastery of Mar Yohanna the Daylami (Marnakortaya Monastery).
7-Mar Afram college, the church and playgrounds.
Mr. Louis Markous Ayoub, Vice President of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, the project manager, commenting on the letters of gratitude and thanks received from officials and clergymen of churches and monasteries, as well as the preachers of mosques and service departments, what Hammurabi carries out in this project is not a favor, but a relief duty of voluntary human rights responsibilities and an essential part of a program developed to confront CoronaVirus Pandemic..
It is to be mentioned that the organization supports this campaign by distributing publications on how to confront the pandemic, including medical advice from reliable sources.
Among the program of Hammurabi team is to include Bartella sub-district center within the project of sterilization including places of worship, churches, mosques and Hussainiya, as well as service institutions.
