  • Mr. Warda congratulates HE the US Ambassador and the Embassy staff in Baghdad and expresses his congratulations to the American people on the occasion of independence and calls for strengthening relations between the two peoples in order to build stability and progress.

Mr. William Warda, Public Relations Officer of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, meets the invitation of the US Ambassador Douglas A. Silliman to attend the ceremony held by the US Embassy in Baghdad on the occasion of the 242nd anniversary of the Fourth of July 2018.

The ceremony attended by number of diplomats accredited to Iraq, Iraqi officials and representatives of various institutions and bodies in Iraq, included speeches by HE the US Ambassador to Iraq, in which he stressed the US keenness to strengthen relations with Iraq and work together to restore Iraq's status as a pivotal state in the region, and emphasized the American values in promoting democracy and freedoms.

The Iraqi Minister of Defense delivered the speech of Iraq, praising the role of the United States in helping Iraq to end the dictatorship as well as eliminate ISIS, stressing Iraq's keenness to continue and strengthen relations with the United States of America.

On behalf of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, Mr. Warda expressed congratulations to Ambassador Silliman and called on the American people to continue progress and prosperity. He expressed the importance of strengthening the ties between the Iraqi people and the American people to serve stability, peace building and progress for the two countries.
