Mr. William Warda, Director of Public Relations of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization joined the group of experts to design a strategy for action in the region of Nineveh Plain, within a two-day workshop held in Erbil on 11-12 July 2018.

The workshop organized by Sanad Foundation for Peace building and attended by experts from the Alliance of Iraqi Minorities, the United States Institute of Peace and the Network of  Iraqi Facilitators, reviewing the efforts and projects underway in Nineveh Plain and their bodies, whether international or governmental organizations, private sector or others identifying work and objectives.

The participants also discussed the existing conflicts within the geography of Nineveh Plain, problems and analysis, major players in the region, and the factors of attraction and payment of conflicts.

The participants examined potential conflicts and facts on the ground and analyzed gaps, priorities, actors and others. Participants analyzed donors, organizations and workers in the region in exchange for gaps and priorities as well as conflict-affected.

At the end of the meeting, the participants in the workshop were able to identify a team to develop a strategy of work and define their tasks and responsibilities.
