Ms.Pascale Warda's lecture at the headquarter of the Italian State University in Milan

Ms.Pascale Warda head of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization and former minister of migration and displacement gave a lecture at the Italian State University in Milan city in 5/11/2014 where she summed up the demands of the Iraqi minorities to end the tragedy, especially what Christians and Yazidies have been through because of the acts of these terrorists from killing, kidnapping, Displacement and other terrorism acts.

Ms.Pascale said that the demands of the Iraqi Minorities can be summed up by:

1- Providing immediate support for the displaced who were forced to get out of their homes without any luggage and especially in the winter because they need fast solutions for better housing.

2- Ending any terrorists existence in Mosul, Nineveh plain and all other Iraqi lands to prepare the land for Christians return.

3- Provide international protection where the inclusion of minorities are protecting themselves and their areas as part of the government.

4- Compensating the victims, and rewarding the ones who suffered because of this attack, and this is possible because the Iraqi government is very rich, and also it's the duty of the international community who wasn't active at the required level and didn't do his duty towards these innocent people and especially the minorities from Christians and Yazidies.

5- The Nineveh Plain to become an internationally protected area with the participation of Iraqi forces to protect it not only from terrorist groups like ISIS but also from the reckless behavior of those in charge of keeping security whether it is the army in Mosul or the Kurdish forces in Nineveh Plain who gave an evidence that they have no feeling of responsibility, and to make sure that the Iraqi law is being forced in the area, and the United Nations should support the Iraqis to provide security for Christians, Yazidies and other minorities in their historical places.

6- International recognition of the existence of a genocide ongoing since 1915, especially against Christians and against Yazidies in general, Where there is still silence not to recognize these crimes as crimes against humanity, and that the UNITED NATIONS and the European Union should issue a special regulations regarding this, not only to help Iraqis to get their rights back but also to prevent these type of acts in other places in the world because these type of acts are being committed  against individuals as against groups.

And in the ending of her speech Ms.Warda said that these demands are realistic demands and the Iraqi government, United Nations, regional and international organizations could cooperate to make these demands become a reality.
