
Within the activities of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization - Erbil Branch and at the beginning of the New Year 2025, the branch carried out various humanitarian activities.
Following the completion of distributing winter clothing to the poor and orphans in various areas of Erbil during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, a team from the organization visited Dar Al-Raja for the Elderly in Ankawa on January 14th, 2025, and shared the day with them having the lunch prepared by the team including various types of food, fruits, vegetables and other kinds of food.
The Al-Raja House is managed by Mrs. Raja Boules as she worked with dedication and sincerity to share the elderly women and men the joy of Christmas and the New Year.
It is to be mentioned that Al -Raja House is one of the leading care centers in Erbil providing quality services in terms of psychological and health care for the elderly as well as providing comfort and calm.
The team comprised of Ms. Nadia Butti, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization; Ms. Taghreed Idris, Head of the organization branch in Erbil; Mr. Mazen Farouk, Branch Assistant; and Ms. Rita Al-Banna, Dr. Samia Youssef, Ilham Ismail, Wafaa Al-Hassan, and Vivian Khader, members of the branch, where they presented gifts to the elderly, bringing joy and pleasure to them.
At the end of the visit, the Hammurabi team expressed thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Khalida Boulos for her distinguished role in caring for the elderly, and her warm welcome to the delegation of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization and its humanitarian team.
