Hammurabi Human Rights Organization HHRO received a letter of thanks and appreciation for its continued support to Al-Hamdaniya University. The letter said that the organization's contribution to the students of the internal departments of the university is grateful, stressing the importance of cooperation between the university and Hammurabi organization departments.
The letter of thanks was signed by Dr. Mezahim Qasim Al-Khayat, President of Nineveh University and the supervisor on the development of Al-Hamdaniya University.
It is to be mentioned that Hammurabi Human Rights Organization has been and is continuing to have an active contribution to support the University of Hamdaniya the young, the organization adopted the project to establish this university after the attacks on the students of Nineveh Plain who were studying at the University of Mosul.
Then activities accomplished by Hammurabi Organization to the intensive follow-up and logistical support to Al-Hamdaniya University to meet the requirements of a number of scientific and sports sections with laboratory and sports supplies as labs of physics, the language lab and a gymnasium and a club for students. The support came after strenuous efforts by Mrs. Pascale Warda Chairwoman of the organization with the American and French sides at the time.
Hammurabi Human Rights Organization respond to the request of the university to provide housing and assistance to the students of the internal departments. All the students in the internal departments were given blankets and towels plus food and health rations as well as water purification and desalination systems.
A delegation from HHRO participated in the annual festival organized by the University entitled "Festival of peaceful coexistence of creativity" on May 3, 2018, in the presence of Mrs. Pascale Warda, Chairwoman of the Organization, Mr. Louis Marqus Ayoub, Vice President of the Organization, Mr. Yohanna Yousef Tawaya, Head of the Organization's Branch in Erbil and Farhan Yousef. Panoramic photography records the various activities of the organization in the fields of human rights and relief, as well as in the requirements of public relations.
Mrs. Pascael Warda award a prize to a sports team of university students in volleyball had won the first rank of sport competitions among university students.
