Hammurabi Human Rights Organization HHRO accept the invitation of the Italian Embassy in Iraq to the ceremony on Thursday 5th  April 2018 held by the Embassy in the Iraqi–Italian Archeological center, based in the historical buildings of  Al-Qushla.

The ceremony came in preparation of opening the photographic archaeological surveys exhibition of many historical sites of Iraq since ancient times during the era witnessed in Mesopotamia before the Gregorian date thousands of years ago.

Hammurabi Human Rights Organization participated in the ceremony and the exhibition, by the attendance of Mr. Adel Saad Media advisor of HHRO and on behalf of Mr. William Warda Public Relations Officer of the organization who was unable to participate being to be present in another activity.

The ceremony included speeches by the director of Iraqi-Italian Archeological Center and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for Archaeological Affairs, who praised the great efforts made by the Italian archaeological experts in assisting Iraq in the field of  archaeological excavations and their leading contributions in this regard, which span more than half a century, as well as training, codification, protection and maintenance of Iraqi archaeological cadres for many antiques and archeological sites.

In his speech, the Italian ambassador to Iraq pointed to the spirit of cooperation between the Italian and Iraqi sides in this great humanitarian field, stressing his government's willingness for more joint activities along this road. One of the experts reviewed the efforts of many Iraqi and Italian archaeologists.

The participants then walk around the show and briefed number of illustrative photographs of Iraqi archaeological sites stretching back to tens of thousands of years.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Mr. Adel Saad convey the greetings of Mrs. Pascale Warda, Chairwoman of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, and Mr. William Warda, Public Relations Officer to the Italian Ambassador, who welcomed the presence of Hammurabi organization among the invitees for this cultural heritage event.

In his question addressed to the Ambassador, Mr. Saad asked about his conclusion concerning the civilization of Iraq, his excellency answered that his father wished him to be an archeological researcher and his presence as Ambassador of his country to Iraq is a response of his father's ambition in this concern.

The Italian Ambassador added that Iraq is the country of great cultural treasures.
