A joint delegation of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization and CSI took part in the evening of (19/6/2017) to visit the home of the liberated child (Christina) in Ankawa district of Erbil. The delegation's visit came following to the return of the child (Christina) to celebrate this happy event, and to talk about the calamity that this family has been through since her kidnap by ISISs' terrorists on (22/8/2014) from her mother's lap and threatening to kill the family if insisted on retrieving the little girl, as well as talking about the following stages to this tragedy such as loosing contact with her and failing to know anything about her fate until the liberation of parts of the city of Mosul, the following events to finding her with one of the families, and the severity of the situation at the moment she met her family after being brought from Mosul to Erbil.
The joint delegation included Mrs. Pascale Warda, President of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, Dr. John Ebner, Executive Director of CSI, Mr. Louis Marcos Ayoub, Vice President of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, Mr. William Warda, Public Relations Officer, Adel Saad, Media Advisor, Nadia Younis Butte, Board Member, Dr. Shwan Nafie, Member of the General Assembly, and Mrs. Ebba'a Al Sheikhli, while the CSI delegation included Mr. Adrian Hartman and Ms. Helen Ray.
Mrs. Pascale Warda, President of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, instructed from Baghdad a team from our organization's branch in Erbil to visit Christina's family immediately after few hours of Christina's release and congratulations the family on this happy occasion. The team included Ms. Nadia Younis Butte, a member of the Board of Directors of the Organization and a number of members of the General Assembly who presented a bouquet of roses to the family along with other gifts.
