Hammurabi Organization meet the International Organization for Migration IOM in Erbil
- Mrs. Pascale Warda: Receives a delegation from the International Organization for Migration IOM to deliberate on a number of topics that safeguard community diversity.
- Mrs. Warda welcomes the establishment of an International Organization for Migration office in Mosul.
- Mrs. Warda stresses the importance of social peace and the ensuing harmony, solidarity and respect for the rights of all population components.
Mrs. Pascale Warda Chairwoman of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization HHRO, Former Minister of Migration and Displaced, member of Iraqi Women's Network, received a delegation from the International Organization of Migration IOM, including Mrs. Zefera and Mrs. Hero.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Hammurabi organization in Erbil and attended by Mr. Luay Kamal Oraha, member of the General Board of HHRO.
During the meeting, the topic of community policing forums was discussed and the positive aspects of the work of this field security institution, with the need to promote its work and find the basis for action which can serve in favor of the measures and directions adopted in order to return the society of the city of Mosul and the general cities, towns and villages of the province of Nineveh to the social cohesion, solidarity and good relations that governed the value of the demographic distinguishing diversity.
The meeting also discussed the creation of an IOM office in the city of Mosul, which was initiated by Mrs. Zefera.
Mrs. Warda welcomed this proposal mentioning that Hammurabi Human Rights Organization is keen on the right mechanisms to serve the citizen's issues and aspirations for social peace.
It is to be mentioned that Hammurabi Organization for Human Rights has interests in the issue of community policing and has already participated in training workshops in this regard and that Engineer Luay Kamal Oraha became one of the trainers in this field.
