- Hammurabi Human Rights Organization carries out a relief project with the support of Christian Solidarity International.
- The relief included distributing winter clothes to more than 200 children of Syrian refugees and Iraqi displaced in Erbil.
On Monday, December 19, 2022, Hammurabi Human Rights Organization completed the first phase of its humanitarian relief project on the occasion of Christmas, which including 202 children, 184 children of Syrian refugee in Erbil, and 18 Iraqi displaced children.
The distributing of 202 winter clothes was held at the Old East Church in Ankawa carried out by a team from Hammurabi Organization including Mr. William Warda, Director of Public Relations of the organization, Dr. Mohammed Kathem Al-Maini a member of the Board of Directors , Engineer Riyath Shaan Head of Erbil Branch of the Organization, Human rights activists Nadia, Rita, Thaghrid, Elham, Zina, Mr. Mazen and Emad Abed.
This relief initiative carried out by Hammurabi HHRO supported BY the International Christian Solidarity CSI responses appreciation and gratitude.
It is to be mentioned that Hammurabi Organization intensified its relief activities during this month, coinciding with Christmas and the New Year 2023. Hoping that the distributions will continue over the next two weeks in Baghdad, Erbil and Dohuk for orphans, the poor and the displaced.
